I went to the ER multiple times due to a mistreated herniated disc while going to an MD that only gave me medication and injections in the span of a year until I tried these guys.
I'm telling you, I walked in the office in crutches and carried them out after my appointment, I was absolutely shocked how good Dr Chatfield is. He said it's rare for that to happen first visit, but he was like a magician in my experience! I learned a lot about my condition and got answers upfront, unlike the MD, who seemed to be giving me false and information, as they made me get an MRI instead of an xray... Dr Chatfield did one xray and knew exactly what to do! I would have saved so much money and lived much happier in that year if I'd have gone to Dr Chatfield first. Trust me, he's simply amazing! And they offer payment plans if you're in the situation I was in (which was really really not a good time in my life)

I just recently started seeing Dr.Chatfield about 2 or 3 weeks ago and could not be more satisfied about the service I have received. He definitely knows what he is talking about and how to get you feeling better the fastest. I was actually talking to one of my neighbors about him and the first thing he said was that is one awesome chiropractor which made me feel 200% better about him than i already did....and I definitely cant forget the girls at the front Megan and Harley super nice girls. The building it self is very clean and comfortable. As far as wait time you are in and out in 20 minuets. Anyone not coming to this clinic is for sure missing out! I absolutely love this place! Thanks everyone for your hospitality!

Dr. Chatfield is a godsend. I have had many experiences with chiros, mostly negative as I tend to think they are quacks. Dr. Chatfield is legit. My Obgyn recommended him when I was pregnant so I've been going to him for several years now. He was fantastic while I was pregnant and now that I'm not pregnant still fantastic. And he doesn't partake in any of that quackery either :-) he's honest and up front and doesn't make outlandish promises. I moved an hour away and still go back to him at least once a month.

I started going to Dr. Chatfield in early 2015 for a severe back issue. I had already seen two other chiropractors and didn't really expect much of a result. After going for less than 2 months he informed me that in his opinion I had a herniated disc that was causing my problem and at that time there was nothing more he could do. Armed with that information I went back to my primary care physician and demanded additional imaging. After finally paying out of pocket for my MRI it was discovered that I had a herniated disc between T11-T12. Dr. Chatfield was spot on! As of this writing I'm 18 months post surgery and as pain free as possible. I have metal hardware in my back, but I'm no longer in debilitating pain. In fact I plan to run a half marathon this coming February! That's all thanks to Dr. Chatfield finally getting me the help I needed when two other chiropractors failed me as well as my regular doctor. I still see him once a week for regular maintenance since I have on going issues and have no doubt that he is helping to improve my quality of life. My wife is now seeing him on a regular basis too.

OMFG! Everyone needs to go here regardless of what you think. They will make you better than you realize you even needed to be. The doctors are amazing and everyone here will make you feel so good you would want to come here more than you need to. I came here in so much pain I was cry daily even though the doctors won't tell you that. Just a couple of visits I was back to my pain free self. I'm so blessed to have came to them in my time of need. I'm so grateful for them and I'll be going to them for the rest of my life. "Thank you all."

Frequently asked questions
How does shockwave therapy work at the Back & Neck Care Center of Bedford?
Many patients ask us: exactly how does shockwave therapy work? During the procedure, Dr. Richard Chatfield uses a specialized shockwave device to deliver high energy sound waves (also known as acoustic waves) into the soft tissues of the affected area. This highly effective treatment works by stimulating blood flow and creating new blood vessels to deliver oxygen to damaged tissues, muscles, and tendons. These sound waves jumpstart the healing process at the root of your injury, providing long-lasting pain relief rather than just masking symptoms. Ultimately, the treatment uses these acoustic waves to signal the body to begin its own natural healing.
What conditions do you commonly treat with extracorporeal shockwave therapy?
Extracorporeal shockwave therapy is a highly versatile treatment for various musculoskeletal conditions and overuse injuries. We commonlytreat patients who suffer from stubborn issues and seek our assistance for conditions like plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, and tennis elbow. Whether you are dealing with plantar fasciitis, chronic tennis elbow, or painful trigger points in your back and muscles, this therapy targets the treatment area to reduce inflammation and restore your well being.
How many treatments will I need for optimal results?
"How many treatments do I need?" is a very common question. Typically, to determine the effectiveness of the therapy and ensure optimal results, Dr. Chatfield will review your medical history during your initial consultation. Depending on the severity of your injury and your specific needs, most patients require 3 to 6 therapy sessions. Because the body responds progressively to the acoustic waves, many patients begin to notice pain relief and improved tissue healing after just the first few visits.
Is the procedure painful, and what is the recovery like?
Patients may experience mild discomfort during the therapyas the shockwave device applies sound waves to the treatment area. A conducting gel is applied to the affected areabefore the high energy sound waves are administered. Any discomfort is brief. Because this is a completely non invasive treatment, there is virtually no downtime. Most patients can return to their normal activities immediately after walking out of the clinic, though we usually recommend that you rest the affected area from strenuous, heavy exercise for about 24 hours to allow the body to focus on healing.
Why choose this over traditional treatment methods or steroid injections?
Unlike traditional treatment methodslike surgery or steroid injections, shockwave therapy is completely non invasive and FDA cleared. Steroid injectionsoften carry a higher risk and typically only temporarily reduce inflammation, whereas acoustic waves promote actual tissue healing and increased blood flow. This effective treatment is performed comfortably in our clinic and focuses on regenerating damaged tissues, tendons, and muscles. Many patients looking for "Shockwave Therapy Bedford Texas" prefer this therapy because the benefits include avoiding needles, avoiding lengthy recoveries, and achieving profound, lasting relief for their injury. The benefits of helping the body heal itself naturally far outweigh older, invasive methods.
