If anyone of you come to osu stay clear of this “nurse practioner”. She is a liar and beyond DISRESPECTFUL! I stated I would like to stay another day so I can do things on my own including taking care of my kids, peeing on my own(had to have a catheter to drain 850ml of urine), getting out of bed on my own etc. she then proceeded to tell me “you didn’t have surgery on your feet so what do you mean you can’t walk on your own” “you mean to tell me if this building was burning down you couldn’t walk on your own” “you mean to tell me you don’t have anyone in the world that can help you?” “Why can’t your family keep watching your kids?” “If your mom can watch your son why can’t she help you?” Do you not understand there is a 231lb difference there and when was that your business? Just stay clear of her. Everyone else was more than accommodating and kind even her boss who also stated “another day wouldn’t hurt”. Osu do better. (I had gallbladder removal surgery). Everyone else there I came in contact with was exceptional! Very kind and helpful, understanding.

I have received good care at this hospital. My wife, on the other hand, didn't. I think the biggest problem is that the hospital and network are so big that one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. Nurse practitioners are ok. But the physician assistants are a different story. The ones I have interacted with have been a bit arrogant. Sometimes, you have to bring them down to earth and remind them they are not Doctors rather they are doctor wannabe. Just make sure you do it in a way that can't be considered staff abuse.

Not the place to go if you have any concerns for mental health needs. The staff are very abrasive and clearly don’t have the slightest amount of education on trauma informed care or working with folks who have emotional needs and concerns. There’s nothing worse than coming to a hospital and getting confronted by nursing staff that clearly dislike their jobs. This is why people don’t want to go to hospitals anymore. Poor morale, poor attitudes, poor experience. Respect and compassion goes a long way in healthcare, y’all need a few doses of each. I gave 2 stars because things were surprisingly fast. But I know that’s a toss up most days. Would not recommend. Better hospitals in Columbus by far.

This hospital is set up to protect their staff only. My mother is currently in ICU now for 3 weeks. Yesterday I went to visit her & her Nurse who I have not seen before came in. My mom start to shake her head at the nurse pointing her finger. I ask what was wrong. The nurse states my mother don't like the way she suction her. Once the nurse left my mother who can't talk wrote on board she don't want the nurse back in her room asap. I ask why my mother stated the nurse was not answering her light & was talking rude to my mom. I went to nurse station, and the nurse to get the unit manager. She said ok & was there anything I could help her with. 20 minutes goes by I called the advocate to let her know what my mother is saying. The advocate immediately diffend the nurse. Stating she knows this nurse & she is a good nurse. 20 minutes later the United manager shows up with police, security, and the stating I cursed the nurse out and cannot come back to hospital.ask for them to transfer my mom. I stated I did not due such thing. Trying to explained what happen. My mother is trying to let them know & they all lied, didnt hear my side & didnt care. They all Team up & protected they're nurse. I always felt highly of this hospital until yesterday. THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE AS MY MOM SET THERE HELPLESS & THEY TELHER ONLY DAUGHTER SHE NOT WELCOME BACK WITH NO EVIDENCE. The Drama the nonsense the DISRESPECT & now they won't transfer my mom or let me come see my mother. This is so disrespectful & so stressful. I will never recommend anyone to deal with this hospital. The customer service is horrible iniCu on the 10th floor of James cancer. Please do better! No one has contact me or update my mom status but one time. She is still in her right mind & you all are making decisions without confirming nothing with me.

I had Abdominal Pain for a long time. I had an appointment with Dr. Ryan Fawley and his team for an endoscopy procedure. They answered all my questions and took great care of me.
