I began sound wave therapy with Dr. Hankinson four years after an injury to my left ankle and right knee. I thought I had run out of options. Both areas had non-displaced fractures that resulted in arthritis, swelling, and pain. Even after the very first treatment, I could feel the increase in mobility. I purchased a condo at the Lake Of The Ozarks that required a lot of steps including 16 steps to my condo. When I first purchased it a year ago, I had difficulty with the stairs. A year later, I am able to go up and down my stairs with ease. At home, I was literally going down my steps sideways due to the pain and I no longer have to do that. I highly recommend this therapy. Initially, I just started it for my left ankle, but it felt so good, I added it on my right knee. I still have intermittent discomfort once in a while, but successful therapy is different to every person. It could mean a 75% reduction in pain and 75% increase in mobility. I
am a nurse and I highly recommend this therapy!! I am extremely happy with my results!

Dr. Hankinson of Back to Wellness Chiropractic is one of the best chiropractors I have been too in my 40 plus years of chiropractic treatments. Do to my line of work it is difficult to schedule days or weeks in advance, so I have to call or text Dr. Hankinson requesting a same day appointment. They have never let me down yet! When I need Chiropractor Treatment, I need it bad! I have a tendency to ignore my body telling me it needs an adjustment until it's to late and I can't take the aches and pains anymore. I’ve never had a bad experience at back to wellness! Dr Jim is very personal and listens and cares for all his patients and what they may be needing day to day. I’ve worked as a server on my feet, carrying heavy trays and things for about 8 years and seen him off and on throughout the last couple years and can definitely notice a difference in my body pains. He’s kept my lower back and neck pains at a very minimum and pretty much gotten rid of my shoulder pains. Nikko and Sophie at the front desk are also great, always get you in quick on the stem, and out quick with payment and rescheduling, and just very sweet and friendly. Definitely the best and most caring chiropractic care I’ve recieved!!

At Back to Wellness Chiropractic, Dr. Hankinson and his staff are very friendly and genuinely care about helping you achieve a pain free lifestyle. Dr. Hankinson is very knowledgeable and experienced in his field and treats you beyond just being another patient. Dr. Jim is the best! He is by far the most caring and compassionate doctor I have ever met. Dr. Jim is a great listener and really knows how to make you feel better. He uses different techniques to help heal your body and then as a added bonus anytime you come in you are treated like a family member.
His office manager Jen is a blast and so fun to talk to! I find myself staying after my appointment just to laugh and chat with her and even Dr. Jim gets in on the laughs. Back to Wellness is a amazing place and I can't say enough good things about this practice!
