Presbyterian Hospital is the best hospital in Pittsburgh. I've been admitted several times over the past 25 years. From endocarditis, renal failure, hysterectomy, broken femur,3rd degree burns to my foot, pneumonia, blood clot in the intestines which led to organ failure and sepsis, assessed for kidney transplant and knee replacement surgery and more. They are very very professional. Very clean. I've noticed they always sanitize their hands upon entering and leaving the room. I mean everyone from nurses, doctor's, food service, housekeeping etc. Everyone.. Everytime! Also when people frown upon hospital food they weren't talking about UPMC s Montefiore hospital food. You actually order your meals. Omelettes, pancakes& bacon, hot tea with honey&, lemon. Baked salmon, apple,& cherry pie, bread pudding, fresh rolls, real butter, ceaser salads. Wow I'm hungry now! Lol But seriously UPMC Presbyterian Hospital is the ONLY hospital I will go to for a cut to a bump to a fever or cough or chills... to Presbyterian I go. Oh and their emergency room is clean, orderly and will s administer aid asap. Please if you want good professional advice and care,; go to Presbyterian Hospital. Please do yourself or your family or your friends or coworkers or neighbors or loved ones a huge life saving favor by making UPMC Presbyterian your first choice. ER, specialist, surgeries, appointments, etc. I promise you, you will be pleasantly amazed and satisfied..... Guaranteed!!!!

Went to the emergency room for an allergic reaction to cashews. We only had to wait around 5 minutes in the waiting room and the front desk person was very quick and professional. The first nurse I saw was very calm and helpful. It only took a minute or so to get me into a room. My main nurse, Erica, was super nice and friendly and was doing all she could to get the ball rolling with treatment. The attending physician, Dr. Ratay, was also very kind and understanding. The only issue that happened was that at the very beginning it was difficult for us to find where the emergency room entrance was so I think more clear signage would be helpful. Overall I would highly recommend this emergency room.

My husband had a Watchman Device put in his heart. The staff was amazing. I especially loved his nurse names Louis MacBeth in the Heart and Vascular dept. He was so informative and explained everything so clearly to us. Always checking on him to see if he needed anything. He was truly amazing and he is definitely in the right profession. Dr Saba, PA, Angela were all wonderful. Thank God for these wonderful, hard-working people. I would definitely recommend this hospital for all your medical needs.

I drove two hours to come to UPMC presby with my ten year old son. I am having pains in my side and ringing in my ears and other issues. My nurse Sierra was helpful and kind . The doctor on the other hand was not helpful. He said he had no idea why I'm having pain, and discharged me. I had to drive two hours back home crying and still with a pian in my side and my ears ringing, and still very scared for my health
