Angel Perkins

I’m a busy mom of 4, a realtor, and I side-hustle as a bartender 3 nights a week. 5 nights ago, while bartending, I began to notice a sharp pain in my right shoulder. The pain subsided over the weekend, but I woke up this morning to excruciating pain. Driving my kids to school was incredibly painful & I didn’t think I’d be able to work my bar shift tonight. I called On Point & they were able to squeeze me in within a couple of hours. Larry did a brief, yet very thorough assessment and then put me through a session of shockwave therapy, manual manipulation, and some strengthening exercises. I left with a home exercise program , as well as decreased pain & increased range of motion! No pain at all on the drive home & I’m confident I’ll be able to get through my 8 hour bar shift tonight! Will definitely recommend to anyone dealing with acute or chronic pain!

I have had a wonderful experience with my therapist, Cedric, at On Point Movement & Performance. From the start, Cedric was able to pinpoint my pain and develop a therapy plan that has improved my day to day activities. He recommended a comprehensive treatement plan, including shockwave, cupping, exercises and stretches, and I have been pleased with the results. I can now return to doing the things I enjoy without the pain. Thank you, Cedric!

I’ve been treated by Larry Hernandez with On Point Movement for several different issues in the past few years and he has always helped me with my recovery. He most recently used shockwave therapy to help me with some pelvic pain and after one session I was already feeling better. He’s also done dry needling in the past that helped me with some back pain. He is very knowledgeable and also helpful with exercises and stretches that aid in the recovery process. I am very grateful for Larry and his hard work to help me get over my pain so I can continue being active.

They help me with my shoulder pain. I came in with severe shoulder pain, and they used shockwave combined with physical therapy, and were able to help restore my pain and range of motion. I had before gone to a chiropractor, where they only did shockwave, but they did not do the rehab, which was so key and helping me restore my shoulder and get back to work. They are experts in shoulder pain not just general PT.

Erica and Larry have been great. I have been going to them to help address my neck and shoulder pain and they were very helpful and getting down to the specific problem and also had a very personal approach where they are coaching me and not just setting me up with things I’ve also loved the shockwave and laser therapy. It’s been very helpful and speeding up my healing process.

About Larry Hernandez

Larry graduated from the Odessa College Physical Therapy program in 2006. He has practiced in a wide array of settings, starting as a technician while still in school at a rehabilitation hospital.

As a therapist, he worked in both inpatient and outpatient roles at the same rehabilitation hospital, treating people with neurological disorders and post-surgical orthopedic cases.

In 2010, he began working for a company that specializes in long-term-care and subacute rehabilitation, serving as a staff clinician and tech advisor as electronic medical records became more common.

In 2019, he became the director of a large retirement community and, while there in 2020, started On Point Movement and Performance, a concierge therapy practice that serves patients primarily in their homes.

In 2021, he opened a clinic in Richardson, Texas, offering the same high-quality care with a staff skilled in shoulder pain, balance disorders, and sports medicine.

Larry became interested in physical therapy after watching his dad rehab from knee-replacement surgery. Fascinated by the process, he wanted to help others move well again after losing mobility.

In his free time, Larry enjoys CrossFit, action movies, and good food. His favorite place to be is with his wife, Jen; his daughter, Hannah; and their two pets—Koda the husky and Tito the orange tabby.
