I thoroughly recommend this practice. Both Dr. Cally and Dr. Jo have helped me alleviate the pains that come from sitting down all day at a computer (neck, back, hip, knees, hands, etc.). I like that their method is two-pronged: helping me with the immediate pains and discomforts but also designing a long-term treatment plan based on what my body needs. The addition of Softwave therapy (I have had two sessions now) to my treatment plan has eliminated almost 90% of the pain from a chronic hip condition that has been bothering me for more than 4 years.

Dr. Cally keeps me going and out of pain. She really can tell what my body needs. She is very thorough. My body is relaxed and my posture is taller and straighter when I leave. Everyone is very friendly and caring. The front desk staff always are very accommodating and get you in when you are hurting and need quick attention. Dr. Jo has also treated me and resolved my problems including jaw TMJ and sciatica pain. I have been to many chiropractic practices over the years and Chiropractic Health and Wellness is the very best. The facility is very clean and atmosphere is totally upbeat.

Dr. Johanning has kept my body in alignment and helped easy my pain for many many years. (20+/-) As a RN, working long and grueling12hr shifts, my back, knees, feet and hips have been blessed at one time or another, by her healing hands. As a medical professional, I am able to take care of my patients because she takes such good care of me!

I can't say enough about all the great physicians, caregivers, and staff at CHAWC RVA. They are incredibly kind and warm but also consummate professionals. Dr.Jo has blown me away with her deep attention to detail and nuance. Recently, I sought care with the Softwave technology to assist in the healing of osteoarthritis of my hip. The results already are mind-blowing. You probably won't believe me if I tell you that a deeply noticeable limp is about 80% better after the very first session, but it's true! I went to this office on the recommendtion of a friend after suffering with debilitating pain and sciatica for two weeks that steroids hadn't touched. The worst of the problem occurred only when I lay down, meaning I was exhausted from a lack of sleep. From the Amy's friendly voice on the phone to my appointment with Dr. Liberty for Sofwave treatments, the whole experience at this office has been wonderful. Dr. Liberty was able to target my pain, give me great information about how the pain was happening and walk me through the process so I felt comfortable making decisions about it. After the first treatment, the tingling in my legs was greatly diminished. By the second treatment, I had my first night's sleep with no pain. I am grateful to have found this practice and highly recommend it and Softwave therapy.
